Health Care Assistant (Band 2)We currently have both part-time and full time vacancies for Health Care Assistants in our Childrens Unit.
You will be an integral member of the team supporting and assisting trained nursing staff and other professionals in a safe way and within the competencies of the Health Care Assistant role, in the delivery of effective patient care on a daily basis for babies and children from 0-19yrs with a wide variety of acute/chronic and terminal physical and mental health problems.
Shifts includes, days, nights and weekends.
We are looking for full time Health Care Assistant to join this established children's unit team. Development and training within this role will be offered. There is an expectation that hours are worked flexibly which includes nights and weekends.

With the patient at the centre of all you do, you will require good communication skills, be assertive and provide a high standard of nursing care with the support of the ward Sister.

To support and assist Registered Nurses/Midwives as a member of the nursing team and under supervision perform a broad range of activities and assigned tasks as required by the patients individualised care plans.
