Role Summary:


Key accountabilities include:


  • Coordinate support resources to ensure customer and prospect needs are promptly met.
  • Field phone calls from customers and prospects.
  • Provide accurate and timely price quotations, terms of sale, and delivery times using AX, price lists, and factory support based on customer requests, while ensuring that all required information is included in each request.
  • Follow up on quotes and prospects to help secure orders.
  • Field technical calls to help customers resolve issues.
  • Enter orders to assist customer service when required to make sure customer is supported.
  • Provide support to relevant teams to maintain, sales agreements, discounts, blanket orders, price lists, customer information on Sharepoint, sales margin's, pricing in the ERP and interact with operations on stock levels.
  • Effectively communicate the value proposition of the full range of Aflex Hose capabilities, and on occasion other WMFTG products.
  • Contribute to the improvement of our marketing message, operational improvement, and new product development through voice of customer feedback and ongoing communication of successes, failures, and opportunities with the Aflex Brand of products.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
  • Maintain relationships with existing customers including providing updates on product availability, current pricing, current lead times, and answering product/technical questions as requested.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or directed by the manager.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

This is what you'll need to be successful in this role:

  • Bachelor's degree or qualified by relevant experience
  • Inside Sales and/or Technical support experience would be advantageous
  • Experience in Life Science Industry Sectors would be advantageous although not essential
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills required to communicate with internal and external contacts.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and high professionalism.
  • Strong time management skills.
