Better Placed are pleased to be working with a UK Marketing, Sales, and Distribution Company for one of the UK's largest and favourite alcoholic beverage brands and they are looking for a Marketing Executive to join their team
The Role:
As the Marketing Executive, you will be a part of a small team, working closely with the On Trade Activation Manager to manage point of sale, on trade activations, PR, NPD launches and core strategic projects.
As a lean team, this role will suit someone who is a motivated self-starter with 1-2+ years' experience.
They want someone who can truly hit the ground running and take full ownership of the areas they will be responsible for.
The role is based 3 days a week in Leeds City Centre and the rest working from home.Responsibilities:
- You will be initial point of contact for the Customer Business Manager (CBM) team and marketing
- Identify regional event requirements and support as needed
- On trade business and press support
- Ensure all internal and external messaging and branding is consistent and accurate
- Identify customer requirements across free trade and provide support
- Maintain master sales toolkit with all new elements
- Evaluate and provide budget breakdown for 2023/2
- Working with the Brand Manager, Customer Marketing Manager and CBM team to allocate POS throughout the year
- Ensure to keep POS in budget and within competitive pricing
- Manage regional events alongside CBM team and the On trade Activation Manager
- Support the Senior Brand Manager on contracts and T&Cs
- Develop strong relationships with festival organisers
- Project manage all key contract deliverables on time and within budget
- Budget Management
- Be the first response for Press Releases
- Manage media packs to journalists/key contacts for NPD and key sales periods
- Management of the Trade socials accounts
- Content plans and copy writing for the trade socials accounts alongside the Brand Manager
The Person:
- Exceptional organisational and project management skills
- Budget Management
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Passionate and determined
- Ability to work in a small and fast paced team
- A Selfstarter who is flexible and comfortable working in fast paced environment, and able to manage multiple priorities effortlessly with a proactive way
- A clear understanding of how agencies run or direct agency management experience
- Higher education graduate
- Strong presentation skills, for regular internal and external presentations
- Experience managing agencies/external partners
- 12+ years in
FMCG Marketing or Food/Drink Brand Marketing roles preferable, ideally with premium food/drink brands - Knowledge of the On Trade
- Understanding of key consumer & socioeconomic
- Broad understanding of all Marketing facets (Brand, Customer, Social, PR, Experiential)
