About The Role
The Operations Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the Chief Operating Officer (COO) in the day-to-day operations of Age UK North, South & West Dorset.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for staff, volunteers, and stakeholders, fostering a supportive team environment and promoting open communication channels.
- Support the Chief Operating Officer (COO) in managing daytoday operations, coordinating activities across departments, and ensuring alignment with organisational goals and priorities.
- Collaborate closely with service line managers to ensure the effective delivery of programmes and services, providing operational support and facilitating communication and coordination among teams.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of organisational policies, procedures, and operational protocols, ensuring compliance and promoting best practices.
- Monitor performance indicators, trends, and operational metrics to inform decisionmaking and strategic planning processes, proactively identifying opportunities for optimisation and improvement.
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of operational reports and documentation, meeting established deadlines and quality standards.
- Provide comprehensive project support and coordination, including scheduling meetings, tracking action items, managing project documentation, and facilitating communication among team members.
- Adapt to evolving organisational needs and priorities, undertaking any other duties as required to ensure Age UK North, South & West Dorset continues to be a highly valued charity.

- Previous experience in a similar administrative or operational role is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks to meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated commitment to the mission and values of Age UK North, South & West Dorset.
- Sensitivity, empathy, and respect for confidentiality in dealing with stakeholders.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges in a dynamic work environment.

Salary:
£13.00 per hour
Expected hours:
No more than 30 per week
