**Mechanical Fitter - Aberdeen

  • 30k 35k**My client is a wellestablished supplier of wireless solutions for the oil industry. They are looking to recruit a Mechanical Fitter to join the team and deal with all mechanical aspects of the company's equipment and systems.

Main Duties:


  • Undertake build, repair, and maintenance of downhole mechanical assemblies.
  • Perform test build of new equipment and perform prototype testing.
  • Read drawings, interpret work instructions.
  • Carry out function and pressure testing.
  • Be able to carry out surveys and pre-fit examinations of equipment.
  • Support operations by working at clients' sites.

Skills:


  • 5 years' experience as a Mechanical Fitter or Tool Dresser
  • Ideally has hydrostatic and gas testing experience.
  • Apprenticeship or Equivalent
  • Oilfield downhole tools

Salary/Location/Education:


  • This is a full-time position based in Dyce, Aberdeen
