The Trust is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Fire Support Officer to work within the Estates team, reporting directly to the Associate Director of Estates, to provide specialist fire safety advice and training, and to undertake business continuity and emergency preparedness planning.


The successful applicant will have the ability to communicate effectively at all levels and be able to deliver theoretical and practical training that is both engaging and memorable.

There will also be a requirement to carry out fire risk assessments and audits and to provide practical advice on fire safety measures needed for capital project works.

The ability to contribute to the development of fire strategies and produce fire evacuation/emergency plans will also form part of the post holder's duties.


Travel to other sites will be necessary and hence having a full UK driving license will be a requirement of the role.
