We are pleased to be recruiting an experienced Scaffolder to join our team with previous experience to understand and know the vast amount of scaffolding/construction products and fittings.

The main purpose of the role will be to comfortable with the scaffolding products we stock in order to smooth the running of the day to day warehouse activity, ensuring tasks are completed to meet deadlines.

The role will also involve:

Being responsible for a small team of Warehouse Operatives and FLT Drivers.
General monitoring and organising of the warehouse
Controlling stock and planning ahead for incoming/outgoing deliveries.
Overseeing all dispatches and sign off
Ensuring orders are picked correctly by the team
Ensuring health and safety processes are being followed
Provide training for new staff members.
Stock control, Goods in and goods out reconciliation, liaising with collection drivers
Hands on approach to work and motivate colleagues.
Liaise with colleagues in other departments as required to meet customer requirements.
To investigate and resolve all nonconformances raised from audits against picking section.
Focusing on pick accuracy
All other ad hoc duties as required by the business

Skills/experience required:

Scaffolding Experience
Product Knowledge with Scaffolding and construction products is essential
Excellent man management, communication skills and a positive leadership style
Excellent attention to detail
Good knowledge of warehouse inventory management
Forklift License
Ability to grasp new concepts quickly, generate fresh and innovative ideas to improve department.
