Nursery Manager, Seniors and the Directors


_Purpose of the Job:
_

Ensure the nursery is kept clean and tidy to provide a safe and clean environment for

children and staff.


_Personal Specification:
_

Ÿ Good communication skills.

Ÿ Able to manage time and organise duties accordingly.


_Main Duties_
Ÿ Follow all company's policies and procedures.


Ÿ Ensure you are following our health and safety policy and complete risk assessment as and when needed ensure you tell a senior or manager.

Ÿ Ensure you follow the correct procedure for manual handling at all times.

Ÿ Keep all cleaning records up to date and hand them to the manager on a weekly basis.

Ÿ Comply with all COSHH and RIDDOR policies.

Ÿ Ensure a high standard of cleanliness is maintained throughout the nursery.

Ÿ Ensure you use your PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)

Ÿ Perform and meet targets set by management and directors.

Ÿ Work with external agencies when required.

Ÿ Work any overtime required due to needs of the business.

Ÿ Attend staff meetings if needed.

9.15am

  • Sort breakfast dishes from up and downstairs

9.30am

  • Gather cleaning equipment and start cleaning an upstairs room

10.45am-11.15

  • BREAK (Please tell practitioners when you leave the building)

11.15am

  • Hoover stairs and clean bannister
  • Clear cobwebs
  • General clean of the building
  • Sort stock if needed

12-1pm

  • Sort dinner rooms and clean cladding

1pm

  • Gather cleaning equipment and start cleaning an downstairs room

2.30-3pm

  • BREAK (Please tell practitioners when you leave the building)

3pm

  • Check tea boxes and put in rooms

3.15pm

  • Hoover an clean the stairs
  • Empty all bins

3.30pm

  • Clean entrance and peg areas
  • Sort kitchen and dishwasher

4pm

  • Clean and organise the kitchen
  • Wash all dishes and put away
  • Sweep and mop kitchen floor

4.30pm

  • Clean both bathrooms
  • Take all bins over to main bins

5pm

  • Complete all paperwork for the day
  • Report any issues to the Management team.

  • Second Break (Please tell practitioners when you leave the building)



  • Sweep path, tidy outside area and clear cobwebs.

2.30-3pm

  • Hoover stairs and clean office area and empty office bins.

  • Third Break (Please tell practitioners when you leave the building)

3.30- 4pm

  • Take dishes to kitchen and clean messy rooms after tea, upstairs and downstairs. (Sweep, mop and wipe down tables)

  • Clean Bathroom, empty all bins

4.30pm

  • Finish time.
If you have any problems or queries, feel free to speak to your Seniors or the Management Team.


Salary:
£10.90 per hour
