Blueprint Recruitment Solutions are working with a highly reputable consultancy who specialise in Design and Engineering within Nuclear, Power, Rail and Defense.

My client is looking for a GIS Engineer to join their site in Aldermaston on a 3-6-month contractbasis outside of IR35.


What you will do

  • BIM/GIS Integration projects
  • UAV support and development, including processing and analysing imagery
  • Preparation and support in migrating from ArcMap to ArcGIS Pro, including the implementation of the Utility Network and Branch Versioning
  • Cartographic production and configuration/improvement of Topographic & Utilities baselines
  • Maintenance of the asset configuration baseline information within the corporate GIS System

Your experience

  • Good working experience in the GIS discipline, preferably within an MoD or utility environment.
  • Experience working with Assets Management Systems (AMS), Computer Aided Design (CAD) or Building Information Modelling (BIM)
  • Remote sensing and spatial analysis.
  • Knowledge of configuration management and change control.
  • Management of utility network data in a versioned geodatabase environment
  • Advanced knowledge of desktop GIS software (preferably ESRI ArcGIS) in a working environment
