About Our Client:

My client is a medical device company focused on point of care asthma diagnosis and management.

Their market-leading products are used in clinical settings by physicians around the world to improve asthma diagnosis and management and by leading research organisations conducting clinical studies on behalf of pharmaceutical companies.

At present, they provides products and services in around 50 countries.

  • Receive, match and code purchase invoices, including processing the Corporate Traveller invoices and Credit Card
  • Prepare and run weekly payments based on payment due dates
  • Process the regular expenses payments, including VAT calculations and postings
  • Investigate and resolve purchase ledger queries which come into the Finance department
  • Maintain the Purchase Ledger database, ensuring the Purchase Orders, invoices and payment requests are in line with company purchase policy
  • Set up new suppliers and customers on the system, and maintain the existing entries with uptodate information
  • Receive and process sales order, ensuring that company policy and procedures for ordering are adhered to at all times
  • Check documentation received from supply chain to ensure that the goods ordered agree to the order from the customer, and follow up on any differences
  • Raise and send sales invoices to customers, including verification of VAT position and VAT amount
  • Chase up on outstanding debts with customers
  • Investigate and resolve sales queries which come into the Finance department
  • Perform tasks associated with Office Admin, such as inventory and purchase of stationery equipment and office sundries, and management of office contracts such as cleaners.

The Successful Applicant:


  • Able to manage and prioritise different tasks on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
  • An ability to meet strict deadlines
  • A methodical and organised approach to assigned tasks
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Thorough understanding of relevant accounts software experience with SAP B1 a benefit
  • Good Excel user
  • Excellent problemsolving skills
  • Proactive communicator
