Description

Heavy Diesel Plant Fitter required - based in the Guildford area
:

This position will initially be on a temporary contract but with the potential to go permanent in the future. Experience of working as a heavy diesel plant fitter is essential.

Working for a business in the civil enginering industry who are specialising in the commercial and public sector markets.


Daily duties

  • Performing repairs, servicing and preventative maintenance of our fleet of Excavators, Dumper trucks and Rollers
  • Perform mechanical, hydraulic and electrical fault diagnosis
  • Carry out repair work within both the workshop and as a mobile plant fitter
  • Completion of documentation to company standards

Requirements:


  • Experience in working as a mobile or workshop based plant fitter
  • NVQ qualified
  • Relevant experience in working with groundwork plant and machinery
  • A driving license to be able to travel to sites in our company vehicles
