Description

Established for over 40 years and now one of the UK's largest contract manufactures, MTL Advanced, part of WEC Group are looking to recruit several enthusiastic fabricator/welders to join our team based in Brinsworth.


Responsibilities

  • To review engineering drawings for parts to be welded
  • Perform MIG and JIG welding activities
  • Ensure compliance to Health and safety standards as directed by the Company
  • Any other duties that may fit into the remit of this role as and when required
  • This is not an exhaustive list and may be reviewed at any time to reflect current or changing practices

Knowledge, Skills, Experience

  • Ability to read engineering drawings is desirable
  • Experience as a fabricator/welder within steel/metal
  • Ability to work effectively and use own initiative
  • Good communicator at all levels
  • Reliable and enthusiastic
  • Able to work to deadlines efficiently
  • Able to follow instructions carefully and precisely

Working Location/Environment
Rotherham, Yorkshire


Hours of Work

Permanent Nights:
Monday - Wednesday 8:00pm-6:00am and on Thursday 8:30pm-6am


OR

Rotational Shifts of Days and Night

Day Shift:
Monday - Friday / 6:00am-2:00pm


Night Shift:
Monday - Wednesday / 8:00pm - 6:00am and Thursday 8:30pm - 6:00am

(£60 per week Night Shift Allowance)
