As part of this investment, we are looking to recruit Traincare Assistant / Mobile CET Operator, on a full-time, permanent basis at our Crewe depot.
What does the role involve?
- Carry out cleaning duties such as litter picking, removing graffiti, removing unauthorised stickers, CET and replenishing toilets
- Cleaning of biohazards and safe removal and correct disposal of sharps
- Use of specialist cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Complete cleaning audit sheets
- Highlighting issues and problems to your supervisor/manager
- Emptying ontrain bins and disposing of the rubbish safely
- Remove full bin liners and reline on train bins when found full or nearly full.
- Assisting train passengers with any questions they may have
What skills and experience do I need to do the job?
- A willingness to learn and work to company set company standards
- Flexibility your working week will include weekends and Bank Holidays
- Being a great communicator both written and verbal communication
- Happy to be training on how to handle biohazards and sharps
- Being happy to work on and off trains and platforms at stations
- Comfortable working alone on occasions, but also as part of a cleaning team at the station

- Salary of £21,504 increasing to £25,392 after successfully completing your probation period
