More about your role


You will be a key member of our Group Finance Team, responsible for providing oversight and management of the financial accounts and reporting team throughout completion of the audit of the financial statements of the year ending 31st March 2023.


You will oversee the planning and delivery of the groups year-end audit process and be a key contact in managing the operational relationship with the audit team.

You will be a champion of culture of continuous process and control efficiency and effectiveness improvement. This will include activities such as the automation of the manual processes, enhances planning and prioritisation.

Please be advised this is a Fixed Term Contract ending October 2023.

You will be based from our Preston, Lancashire office and will need to be within a commutable distance from this location to be considered for this role.

More about you
You will be a fully qualified accounts with either a ACA, ACCA, CIMA or similar qualification.

You will be responsible for driving change and proactively leading teams through identification and delivery of change initiatives to enable process efficiencies, control improvements or drive savings in costs.


Ideally you will understand the coding structures, how to process journals and run reports and come from a social housing or other regulated industry but other backgrounds will also be considered.
