Description

Purpose

Awin is looking for several translators who can support the localisation of content, including for website, presentations, marketing material and client guides.

All content will need to be translated from the original English into French, Italian, Dutch, Brazilian Portuguese, Polish and Swedish.

Tasks
Transcreation, ensuring cultural nuances are considered
Review and post-edit machine-produced translations
Conduct terminology research
Create and maintain translation memories and glossaries

Requirements:

Native speaker in one of these languages: French, Italian, Dutch, Brazilian Portuguese, Polish, Swedish
Cultural awareness of the relevant country
Experience translating from English for the following: marketing, website content, sales, client-facing comms
Ability to review work of others, edit and provide feedback
Good time management, versatility
Professional approach and commitment to quality
Able to work autonomously
Based in either the UK or Germany
Able to provide a VAT number

Optional Skills
Familiar with Smartling, Lokalise or other CATs
Familiar with using project management tools like Asana or Monday
