An established and expanding import/export distribution company based in Accrington within the automotive components sector is now on the lookout for a Warehouse Team Leader to join their team.

As Warehouse Team Leader, assume responsibility for the day to day running of the department. Ensuring all activities are completed within set or agreed timescales to achieve company

Displaying a positive can-do attitude, you will be highly motivated, and results orientated and have both people management and operational experience within a demanding environment.

You must also, be able to monitor activity and adjust plans to fit client and operational challenges.

To be considered for this opportunity, you will have experience of below key responsibilities:

• All aspects of people management, issuing instructions, team briefs, return to work, coaching, training, monitoring performance and completion of relevant documentation.
• Day to day management of staff and activities within the department. Coordinate all activities.
• Plan workload and issue instructions to team.
• Monitor, evaluate and re

- assess progress in order to achieve daily output targets.

• Deal with day to day queries and escalates if unable to resolve.
• Motivate staff to achieve targets.
• Ensures work procedures are followed and standards are maintained.
• Maintains a excellent standard of housekeeping within the department.
• Ensure Health and Safety procedures are observed at all times, to maintain a safe and legal working environment.
• Update manager on daily progress or challenges within the department.
• Undertake other duties as required in order to support the business in achieving excellence for all customers.

As Warehouse Team Leader, you must be highly motivated and enthusiastic with an organised and dedicated approach.

A team player, you must also possess strong communication skills and the ability to adhere to deadlines and thrive within a customer focused environment.

Working hours:
Monday - Thursday, Fridays.


Salary:
£22,000.00-£24,000.00 per year
