SITE ADMINISTRATOR/DOCUMENT CONTROLLER
NEW CROSS
SALARY UP TO £30K DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE
Our client a leading supplier of rail infrastructure including Civil Engineering, Communications, Permanent Way, alongside Civil Engineering & Building projects with the Rail sector.
Role & Responsibilities
This job description reflects the major tasks to be carried out within the role and identifies the level of responsibility but not limited to, the position may also require other duties which are to be carried out from time to time as deemed appropriateby your line manager.
Responsible to the Contracts Manager
- Assist project teams keeping their project folders up to date.
- General administrative support including filing, document scanning and photocopying as required by the Civils teams.
- Maintain the shift records on the system and ensure shift records are available for all shifts worked.
- Assist in the completion of shift records where required.
- Assist HSQE with the Project Folder Audits.
- Undertake the duties of Document control or liaise with document control when undertaken remotely to ensure all formal documentation is maintained in a controlled manner to the project and the Company's requirements.
- Assist Civils Supervisors/Stores to ensure all required tooling is provided to projects.
- Coordinate weekly PUWER/LOLER test and file paperwork.
- Check all site staff are competent and site inducted as required.
- Assist training coordinator with booking & arranging training courses for the team. Training coordinator must be kept up to date with what training is required.
- Coordinate/ organise the booking of the Company's inductions.
- Accurately record and monitor all holiday allocation & track and monitor employee sickness.
- Check weekly vehicle returns and report any maintenance required.
- Organizing plant maintenance and repairs.
- Manage the allocation of Civils Materials on a register (Date/ what is issued and / to whom) and manage the stock levels. Authority
- As listed above.
- Promote the Company's Values, and PALs Behavioural Based Safety programme in all aspects of your role with the Company.
- Attendance to site may be required under the project specific contract.
About you:
- Driver with full Driving Licence required.
- High level of competency and literacy in Microsoft Office.
- Flexible to work with and across various teams and sites.
- Construction industry experience.
- Site & Document Control experience.
