Hours: 10 hours per day Monday to Saturday - 60 hours per week - up to 70

The Role
We have a requirement for Platers to work on a heavy industrial project in the Isle of Grain. The work will involve the erection of a steel chimney both at ground level and also working at height.

Works on the ground will be welding and installation of ladders and platforms with access mainly from scissor lifts and cherry pickers.

Using oxyacetylene burning equipment to remove sections of plate. Setting out, marking and cutting steel plate. Repairing heat distorted steel plate. Plate, pipe, channel and bracket repairs.
