We have a rare and exciting opportunity for a Head of Design within the HV and EV space.

Our client is a leading Independent Connections Provider and specialises in designing and installing new and upgraded electricity connections to business, industry andcommercial properties.

This role will be Hybrid working, with 2 days per week based in their Worcester office.

As Head of Design day-to-day your role will entail:

Overseeing the day-to-day design operations for ICP & EV project delivery
Managing design resources to deliver ontime, onbudget and to the required specifications
Enforcing stringent, 'industryleading' quality standards in output/drawings at each design stage
Undertaking site and client visits where necessary to support highprofile projects
Mitigating the likelihood of health and safety incidents via comprehensive, safetyfocused, design output
Shaping and implementing the future strategy of the design function to ensure it is fit to support forecasted business growth
Monitoring changes in legislation, regulation and codes of practice to ensure absolute compliance

To be considered you will need to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

Strong proven experience in electrical infrastructure project delivery
Electrical design experience and/or qualification
People management experience
