The opportunity
Your key responsibilities
Blockchain technology is a complex emerging capability that is far from mature.
Above and beyond any of the "essential" skills for this job, you must have a love of new technologies and a passion for learning by doing and leading by example.
- Interface with audit teams and clients to ensure build is aligned to client and market needs
- Convert Accounting / Audit requirements into product deliverables leveraging the Agile methodology and communicate regular updates to Stakeholders
- Lead and drive the product within the context of broader product goals, strategy and roadmap
- Incorporate data, research and market analysis to inform product requirements
- Creating prioritizing and communicating product backlog items

To qualify for the role you must have:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance or a related field
- 5 years of financial accounting/audit work experience.
- Alternatively, will accept a Master's degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance or related field and 4 years of financial accounting/audit work experience.
- Must have active CPA certification or foreign equivalent, CFA, CFE or Enrolled Agent certification, or sufficient coursework/experience requirements (as determined by state Board of Accountancy)
- Big 4 or other relevant professional services experience
- A keen interest to pursue a career in software development and work in an agile way
Good to have qualities
- Previous experience of Project and product management.
- Knowledge and understanding of technology frameworks such as Git, JIRA, Confluence.
- Knowledge and experience of blockchain concepts
- Experience guiding stakeholder discussions to prioritize product roadmaps using Agile methodologies
- Previous experience of working in highly distributed teams
