Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Learning Mentor in a school setting
- A valid DBS on the update service
- Passion for supporting students in their personal and academic development
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to remain calm in challenging situations
- Commitment to the school's mission and values
Responsibilities:
As a Learning Mentor, you will play a crucial role in providing support and guidance to our students
Your responsibilities will include:

Mentoring: Building positive relationships with students, offering them guidance and emotional support, and helping them overcome personal challenges.

Academic Support: Identifying and addressing individual learning needs, working with teachers to develop tailored interventions, and monitoring progress.

Behaviour Management: Assisting in managing and improving student behaviour, addressing any issues, and helping to maintain a positive learning environment.

Attendance and Punctuality: Monitoring and improving student attendance and punctuality, working closely with families and school staff.

Personal Development: Supporting students' personal development, self-esteem, and confidence, and providing opportunities for personal growth.

Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate records and documentation of interventions and student progress.

Collaboration: Collaborating with teachers, parents, and external agencies as needed to provide holistic support to students.

Teamwork: Working as part of a dedicated team to create a positive and nurturing school environment.
