Job summary:


  • We're looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our busy Resourcing team as an HR Officer. In the role you will be responsible for administrating a quality endtoend recruitment experience for applicants and recruiters.

This includes:
- organisation of assessments, interviews and other selection activities
- new starter administration, for example taking references and issuing contracts of employment
- giving clear and accurate advice to applicants and recruiting managers.


There is no line management responsibility in this role, but you will provide coaching and guidance to HR Adviser colleagues within the team as required and quality assure your colleagues' work.

  • You will have the ability to plan your own workload and work on your own initiative. You will be confident and highly organised; able to direct others supporting you in the delivery of highvolume recruitment campaigns. You will be an excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing, with a passion for good customer service.

Job description:


  • The post holder will be responsible for the quality, timely and compliant delivery of endtoend recruitment activity. This includes the personal management of senior level and highvolume recruitment campaigns. They will also assist in the development and implementation of Ofsted's recruitment and retention strategies, employer branding and talent pipeline.

  • Experience of successfully coordinating work through periods of high volume and with competing priorities.
  • Experience of delivering and improving administrative and transactional services.
  • Effective verbal and written communicator, able to advise a range of stakeholders on policy and practice.
  • Excellent working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook and SharePoint and the ability to learn new programmes quickly.
