About the Role


We are seeking an experienced Data science lead, who will be in the forefront of driving data-driven insights and models that empower our platform's capabilities, helping individuals get the most out of their coaching experiences.

You'll combine your deep understanding of data science methodologies with the nuances of the coaching world to create meaningful, impactful solutions.

Reporting into product, you will help fuel insights, knowledge, and data driven expertise, supporting the product team to make meaningful, data inspired decisions.


Key Responsibilities:


Leadership & Strategy:


  • Set the strategic direction for data science projects, ensuring alignment with the company's overall objectives.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams, including engineering, product, and marketing, to identify opportunities and challenges.
  • Provide a strong foundation for Product Management to understand trends, behaviours and hypotheses and support their needs to improve the success and growth of the product.
  • Lead and mentor your future team of data analysts and scientists.

Data Modeling and Analysis:


  • Design, implement, and validate predictive and prescriptive models.
  • Analyze vast amounts of data to derive insights related to user behaviour, coach effectiveness, and platform engagement.
  • Propose new metrics and KPIs to evaluate platform success and user satisfaction.

Technical Proficiency:


  • Implement machine learning & personalization models to enhance the platform's capability and automate processes.
  • Support the development of BI Tools and behavioural analytics tools.
  • Ensure the data integrity, consistency, and reliability of all analytical models.
  • Stay uptodate with the latest advancements in the field and recommend relevant technologies and approaches.
  • Be responsible for report and analysis generation across the organisation

Stakeholder Communication:


  • Present complex data findings in a clear, concise manner to nontechnical stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the product team to drive feature development based on data insights.
  • Report regularly to senior management on the progress, results, and challenges of datarelated projects.
