About the role

We are looking for someone with a proven track record of planning and delivering community and/or events fundraising products to give a good return on investment.

You'll be skilled at building excellent relationships with a range of supporters, deploying a number of different communications techniques to inspire engagement.

You'll be output-focused and ambitious, keen to grow the income and team, always learning and looking for new ways to do things.

You'll be responsible for a portfolio of events/community products and the income, expenditure and engagement targets associated with them. You'll deliver inspiring supporter journeys and on the day logistics to ensure supporters meet their fundraising goals. You'll work with supporters and suppliers to develop meaningful relationships.

You'll work with the team to identify new opportunities for growth and together we will build a strategy that strives every day to help more and more people affected by arthritis.

Together we will develop breakthrough treatments, campaign relentlessly and won't stop until no-one has to tolerate living with the pain, fatigue and isolation of arthritis.

Key requirements

  • A proactive and engaging individual with a passion for realising supporters' ambitions to fundraise.
  • Excellent project management skills, proven experience of endtoend project management of income generating products from budget setting to marketing to delivery.
  • Excellent communication and relationshipbuilding skills across a range of channels.
  • Output and numbers driven with experience of delivering against targets.
*_As a hybrid worker the expectation is that you will spend around 40% of your working time in our office spaces or working in community settings. As an inclusive employer we will consider home-based working for anyone where office-based hybrid working would be a barrier to being able to work for us, for example for someone living with a long-term health condition or disability._
