We have been working and creating in stone for many years and we are one of the premier suppliers of granite worktops in the South West.

We are currently seeking a skilled CNC Operator/Programmer to join our team.

As a CNC Operator/Programme, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining CNC machines to fabricate stone according to specifications.

This is a full-time position based in Banwell, just outside of Weston-Super-Mare.


Duties:

• Set up and operate CNC machines
• Read and interpret plans, technical drawings, and job orders to determine machine setup and specifications
• Load raw materials into the machine and monitor the production process
• Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
• Make adjustments to machine settings as necessary to ensure proper operation
• Perform routine maintenance on machines to keep them in good working condition
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and optimize production processes

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a CNC Operator or similar role
• Proficient in using hand tools and measuring instruments
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans
• Mechanical knowledge and understanding of machine operations
• Good mathematical skills for performing calculations and measurements accurately
• Have a good level of computer skills
• Great attention to detailand be self motivated
• Being able to use CAD drawing would be beneficial however not essential
