WORKING FOREMAN ROLE - JOINERY & HOTEL FIT OUT EXPERIENCE

Project Details - HOTEL PROJECTS A MUST - JOINERY BACKGROUND


Phase - Interior Fit Out conversion of an existing Fire Station into a 5* Hotel - 60nr Bedrooms, Ensuites, Corridors, Staircases, Bars, Restaurants, Front and BOH.


Phase - additional Interior Fit Out conversion of an existing Police Station, Magistrates Courts - further 32nr Bedrooms, Ensuites, Corridors, Staircases, Bars, Restaurants, Front and BOH.

Employment Basis:
Self Employed


Rate of Pay:
£250.00 PER DAY / 5 Days per week

Position is Site Based

High End Hotel Experience is essential

The Site Manager, reporting to Senior Project Manager


The Role:

  • Supervise all labour as necessary and coordinate the activities of trades and subcontractors involved with the site so that all operations are performed efficiently and in accordance with the construction programme and the quality and costs required.
  • Manage the site and ensure adherence to all policies, procedures and standards using specified drawings and instructions, within budget and on programme.
  • Ensure that all work is kept on programme and that all details as specified in the drawings and instructions are adhered to.
  • Monitor and drive quality, safety and environmental systems and promote a safety culture in full support of our 'excellent delivery' values and ethos.
  • Ensure full compliance with health and safety, quality and environmental legislation as well as compliant with the policies and procedures.
  • Monitor the roles and responsibilities matrix for the project.
  • Promote, encourage and manage effective teamwork and a good team environment.
  • Coach and motivate the site teams and lead by example.

Requirements:


  • Experience in structural alterations, refurbishments, cut & carve projects
  • Experience in internal fit out
  • Asbestos Awareness


  • CSCS card

  • Site Manager
  • Ability to deal tactfully and professionally with colleagues.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.

Job Types:
Temporary contract, Fixed term contract

Contract length: 12 months


Salary:
£250.00-£285.00 per day

  • Monday to Friday

Joinery Hotel Fit Out: 5 years (required)


Licence/Certification:

  • SMSTS (required)
  • First Aid at Work (required)
