About The Role:

Responsibilities:

Project Supervision: Oversee the daily operations of multiutility projects, ensuring that work is carried out according to the project schedule and specifications.
Resource Management: Coordinate with the project team to allocate manpower, equipment, and materials effectively to meet project requirements.
Health and Safety: Ensure strict adherence to health and safety guidelines, promoting a safe working environment for all onsite personnel and visitors.
Quality Control: Monitor the quality of workmanship and materials used, ensuring that all installations meet the required standards.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of site activities, including progress reports, permits, LOLER, PUWER, site diaries, and any incidents or issues encountered.
Communication: Regularly liaise with the Project Manager, clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to provide project updates and address any concerns or challenges.
Problem Solving: Identify and resolve any onsite issues promptly, taking appropriate actions to keep the project on track.
Compliance: Ensure that all work carried out complies with relevant regulations, permits, and utility industry standards.
Training and Development: Mentor and train junior staff, promoting their professional growth and development within the company.
Continuous Improvement: Propose and implement process improvements to enhance project efficiency and productivity.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Site Supervisor in the multiutility sector or a similar utility construction role with a minimum of SSSTS and Street Works Supervisor qualification
Indepth knowledge of multiutility installations, including water, gas, electricity, and telecommunications.
Strong understanding of health and safety regulations within the construction industry.
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage a diverse team.
Problemsolving mindset with the ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings and plans.
Relevant certifications and qualifications related to utility construction and site supervision are advantageous.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as required.
