Great British Communications, part of the United Living Group are actively recruiting for a Stores person to join our established Warehousing team.

We have recently secured a 5 year contract to install fibre to the premises across the North West and Wales, and are looking for a hardworking individual to help us in the increased workflow through the team.

The successful applicant will be working as part of a team working in a busy Telecommunications warehouse environment and will report to the Stores Manager.

The main responsibilities for the role include, but are not limited to;

Accepting deliveries and updating the stores database to show received stock
Picking items ready for use on site
Allocating items as used on the stores database
Monthly and quarterly reporting on stock levels and areas for improvement
Ensuring that the stores area is kept in a clean and tidy manner at all times
Ensuring that all site staff comply with health and safety legislation

Additional Information

Must be computer literate including software packages such as Microsoft Office
Must be able to keep accurate records
Must be willing to work on own initiative as well as part of a larger group in other areas when needed.
Experience of Wireless or Fixed-Line Telecommunications preferred but not essential
