Description

Morgan Hunt are currently recruiting for a well established public sector organisation who require a Senior Finance Business Partner on a 6-month contract.

This role will be based in Edinburgh with occasional travel to Glasgow
Role Responsibilities

Manage the month end accounting and reporting process.
Collaborate with the finance business partner team to deliver accurate financial reporting
Take leadership of the production of monthly management accounts and investigate and report on significant budgetary variances
Manage the annual and quarterly budget process
Offer specialist advice on strategic issues to senior managers and budget holders
Responsible for capital accounting and management of the Fixed Asset Register
Work with the Financial Accountant to produce financial and management reports

Role Requirements

History of managing a team
Ability to communicate the strategic implications of complex financial issues
Experience identifying opportunities for improving and streamlining processes
Demonstrate a commercial, financial, and sustainable mind to ensure activities and services deliver added value.
Membership of a CCAB professional body (or equivalent) or qualified by experience
Strong in using finance systems
Advanced skills in Microsoft and Word

Role Details

6month contract (possibility of extension)
Hybrid Working
Edinburgh based with occasional travel to Glasgow

- £420-£47
