Human Resources Advisor**

Hybrid working: 3 days in office/2 days remote working.


Overview:

***The HR Advisor will support employees & managers for two London-based Omnicom Health Group (OHG) Agencies. This role will partner with all functions of the broader HR team based in the UK and the US (HRBPs, Talent Acquisition, Benefits etc.) to timely complete all assigned tasks.


Responsibilities
Onboarding

  • Do New Hire Orientations
  • Oversee probationary period (check in with new hires and managers)
  • Draft probationary confirmation or extension letters
  • Provide advice to line managers regarding performance issues during probation
  • Review New Hire Surveys and do data analysis
  • Continuously evaluate the onboarding Agency process and make improvements
Offboarding

  • Oversee offboarding process for leavers
  • Do facetoface exit interviews and collate data
  • Review online exit surveys and do data analysis
Employee Relations (ER)

  • Manage low risk ER cases (e.g sickness absence, performance improvement plan etc.)
  • Take minutes in formal meetings (disciplinaries, grievances, performance management)
  • Key contact for employee policy questions (holidays, family leave, sickness absence, flexible working etc. )
  • Support, coach and develop line managers consistently in all aspects of people management, providing guidance and tools where appropriate.
Talent/Performance Management

  • Support the roll out of Culture Amp for: New Hire Conversation, Goal Setting, Career Conversations, Appraisal, Engagement Survey
  • Review & advise Management of completion rates
  • Answer employee and manager queries on the system tools and capabilities
Learning & Development (L&D)

  • Oversee the Agency L&D employee nominations and keep internal nomination and participation trackers up to date
  • Oversee the DAS UK Apprenticeship programmes for the Agencies
  • Assist lead HRBPs in the implementation of Agency L&D programmes
  • Deliver training for line management
Immigration

  • Manage Migrant activity UK Agencies ensuring compliance in the operational process
  • First point of contact for all immigration/visa related queries for new hires
  • Liaise with OMC Immigration external counsel for visa sponsorship activity
  • Responsible for migrant compliance in line with law guidance and Omnicom practices
Responsible for the monthly payroll cycle

  • Collate variable monthly payroll data
  • Submit Agency payroll & download reports
  • Liaise with Omnicom assigned payroll manager
HRIS Data entry

  • Process employee data changes as required
  • Pull reports from HRIS system as required
HR Projects

  • Support Lead HRBPs with HR projects and initiatives as appropriate: engagement and retention, career path planning, talent management, DEI Agency initiatives
  • Audit UK terms and conditions of employment, amend HR policies as necessary
  • Update internal recruitment trackers

Qualifications and Experience:


  • Around 5 years of experience in a HR advisory capacity role in a fastpaced, collaborative working environment, ideally within the communications and advertising industry.
  • Strong advisory and coaching skills with a collaborative attitude.
  • Proficient knowledge of UK employment law.
  • Ability to multitask and handle various requests with accuracy and proficiency, with strong attention to details.
  • Ability to project manage and deliver task output within required deadlines.
  • High degree of confidentiality.
  • Strong verbal, written and customer service communication skills.
  • Fluent in English language verbal and written
  • Resourceful with a 'can do' attitude.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, intermediate or advanced word/excel user.
  • Experience of various HR tools and systems prior experience of Culture Amp, REACH, iCIMS would be advantageous
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
