Nurseplus is looking to recruit an individual with proven legal experience in property lease negotiation and management in a multisite business.

You will need a legal background in commercial property and a passion to implement strategic ideas that not onlyhave a financial benefit for the business but also has a positive impact on the environment.

The main duties of the Contracts Manager role include:

  • Take overall responsibility of leases (property and vehicle), utilities and dilapidations for estate
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with landlords and lawyers (Mills and Reeve)
  • Manage any refurbishments, renovations and office moves (closures and openings)
  • Handle Insurance and Service Contracts (leases included)
  • Conduct / oversee building assessments including Health & Safety
  • Work with IT, Finance and Operations to plan and coordinate all installations (telecommunications, heat, electricity etc.) and refurbishments
  • Keep accurate financial and non financial records
  • Budgeting and demonstrating cost efficiencies
  • Hard & Soft Procurement with a clear focus on ESG and National contract

  • Waste Disposal, Cleaning and Security Contract Maintenance
  • Manage and lead change whilst ensure minimum disruption to core activities
  • Proven legal experience in property lease negotiation and management in a multisite business
  • Exposure to ESG initiatives
  • National contract negotiation to derive P&L savings
  • An understanding of technical/engineering operations and facilities management practices
  • Knowledge of basic accounting and finance principles
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Good analytical/critical thinking
  • Relevant professional qualification
  • Driving License
  • National travel required
  • Must be able to work as part of a team and autonomously and manage own workload
