Description
Walker Cole International is searching for a Distribution Project Manager to join an industry leading pharmaceutical manufacturer that specialises in a broad range of clinical-stage investigational medicinal products in the South of Wales.
As a DistributionProject Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring project goals and objectives are completed in time with deadlines, company budget, and in accordance with client expectations.
Your responsibilities as a Distribution Project Manager will be:- To co-ordinate projects, monitoring progress whilst ensuring project goals and client expectations are met.
- Have ownership over the entire life cycle beginning with customer orders through to the delivery of company products.
- Manage the billing process in relation to distribution, returns and destruction until the project is completed.
- Mentor Associate Project Managers.
- Overall improvement, streamlining, and continuous improvement of the distribution team.
- BSc/MSc in a life science discipline or equivalent qualifications, for example, Prince2 certifications.
- Work experience in manufacturing, logistics, productions or operations within the pharmaceutical industry, or another highly regulated industry (i.e. food and aero space industries etc.).
- Technical skills in production, manufacturing, distribution and/or logistics.
- Experience in customerfacing roles would be advantageous.
