Description

Logistics Engineering Specialist, on going contract based in Derby £neg to start asap and working with one of the regions largest and high profile employers.

You are in charge of the design of physical flows for your site, to fulfil Production / Operations / Construction requirements while minimizing costs & cash usage in their execution.

Key skills required
Diploma/Degree Educated
Logistics Engineering background
Exposure to CAD and 3D Modelling
Good Statistical Modelling
Strong understanding of Logistics flow

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

Logistics / Design Supply Chain processes vs Industrial requirements
Logistics / Define subcontractors requirements
Logistics / Define Vendors' requirements regarding logistics
Logistics / Define warehouse layouts, its internal flows and storage policy
Logistics / Define line feeding layout and kitting associated
Logistics / Define Rolling Stock & Construction Handling

QUALIFICATION & COMPETENCIES - Expected Level

QUALIFICATION

Initial Background:
Diploma/Degree Qualified in Supply Chain/Engineering

Languages:
English

Mandatory experiences:
Several Years experience in Logistics/Warehouse Management layout and Design/Packaging, Stillage Management
