From September 2021 we have been working with the DVSA (Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency) to deliver the driving theorytest in several locations across the UK.

What is the job about:


This is a part-time role involving day shifts (this could be any time between 8.00am-5.30pm/6.30pm, including half days and/or full days) and evening shifts (typically 4.30pm to 9.30pm)

Your main responsibilities would be:


  • Helping to manage attendance at the Test Centre, ensuring only authorised people have access.
  • Ensuring that the integrity and security of tests are maintained and that they are supervised / invigilated to the required standard.
  • Ensuring that the test centre and its equipment is operational and test stations are in working order to deliver testing.
  • Periodically downloading and reviewing tests and test centre schedules.
  • Performing daily test centre opening and closing procedures.

Shifts could range from:
Full day shifts - this could be any time between 8.00am-5.30pm/6.30pm
Mornings - typically 8.00am-1.00pm
Afternoons - typically /6.30pm
Evenings - typically 4.30pm to 9.30pm
Afternoon & Evenings - typically 12.00pm-9.00pm


Required Skills and experience:


  • Applicants must hold a full UK driving licence due to the nature of the role (although driving will not be required for all locations)
  • Significant demonstrable experience in providing highquality customer service.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work under pressure to short timescales and multitasking to complete a variety of competing activities.
  • Excellent judgment and decisionmaking skills.
  • Experience in working with diverse customer groups.
  • Flexible in working hours and days, including evenings and Saturday.
