Junior Geo-Environmental Engineer - Birmingham - £negotiable

I am working with a very well-established environmental consultancy based in Bristol who are looking to expand their team with graduate geo-environmental engineers.

This client has 4 UK based offices servicing to a wide range of clients working in; construction,infrastructure, and transport.


This role is ideal for a recent graduate who is looking to expand their knowledge and skillset and learn from experienced professionals, whilst included in their in-depth training programme.


Key responsibilities include:


  • Completing both field and officebased projects to a high standard
  • Correct logging of rock samples to BS5930:201
  • Factual reporting
  • Preparing health and safety documentation
  • Liaising and reporting to senior staff members
  • Client liaison
  • Data processing
  • Willingness to travel

Needed qualifications and experience:

- ideally 6 months consultancy experience

  • Relevant in degree e.g. Environmental sciences or Environmental Engineering
  • Relevant MSc e.g. Geology
  • Ability to work as a team player with good communication skills
  • Excellent report writing skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy
  • Ability to travel to different sites
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
