My client, a specialist UK based Engineering and Environmental Consultancy, is searching for a Graduate Flood Risk Consultant to join a supportive Water Team based in Nottingham.


It is essential that applicants have a strong academic background including a MSc and/or BSc in Hydrology, Environmental Management, Geography and have a keen interest in flood risk assessments, drainage strategies and drainage designs using Microdrainage.

This exciting opportunity will offer the chance to join a supportive team based in Nottingham.

You will have the opportunity to complete varied Hydrological, Surface Water, Flood Risk and Drainage Projects for Private Sector Clients, Local Authorities andWater Companies.


As a Graduate Flood Risk and Drainage Consultant you will be trained to complete technical work including Flood Risk Assessments for Planning Applications for flood zone 1,2 and 3, Drainage Strategies and detailed drainage design using Microdrainage.

You will also have the opportunity to complete flood estimation, GIS mapping and hydraulic modelling using flood modeller.
