Description
We are looking for a Senior Therapy Assistant to join our Community Rehab Team in Folkestone.

We are a multi-disciplinary team that includes occupational therapists, physiotherapists and therapy assistants.

We provide short-term rehabilitation to enable patients, where possible, to remain in the community rather than be admitted to hospital or long-term care, and to live as independently as possible.

We assess and devise individual exercise programmes to improve muscle strength, mobility and balance.

Our treatment plans are based on patient-centred goals which are aimed at improving patients' ability to perform daily activities, such as walking, climbing stairs and self-care.


You will be working with our patients, their carers and families to complete holistic assessments for adult patients with a range of conditions, and support delivery of Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech and Language Therapy (SLT) programmes.


You'll be working within Community Hospitals, patients' homes and rehabilitation groups to ensure effective discharge planning and a seamless rehabilitation pathway.
