Description
We are looking for a Pharmacy counter assistant to join our Pharmacy team.


Education / Skills

  • Pharmacy Counter Training preferred but not essential if you have previous retail counter experience ( Training will be provided )
  • You would need to have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively as part of a team.
  • You would need to have a genuine concern for patients and be able to provide outstanding care for our customers.
  • You must be able to work under pressure and to work within deadlines.
  • You need to be able work accurately and methodically and pay attention to detail.
  • You must have excellent customer service skills and IT skills.

Responsibilities

  • Taking in and handing out prescriptions
  • Ordering items and unloading deliveries
  • Selling over the counter medicines
  • Responding to queries and referring to the pharmacist when needed
  • Providing health or minor ailment advice

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Pay:
From £11.44 per hour
