Outdoor and Indoor Activity Instructor in Schools - Full Time Year Round

Starting date: 3rd June 2024 (flexible if needed)

Location Of Work:
Lots of travel to London for the week 4/5 days at a time. Some work in other areas including Essex, Kent, Home Shires and Midlands. Potential for all over UK.


Remuneration:
Starting Full Time Salary £24,000 rising to £25,000 after 6 months service. £1000 bonus every year just for doing your job, paid before Christmas.

A pension will be offered to all employees.


Hours:
From June - October 5 days a week. From November to May 4 days a week. This job will require travel some overnight stays. All costs will be paid for by the company.


Holidays:10 weeks (50 days) per year. This will coincide with school holidays.


The job is throughout the UK, but with a focus on the midlands and north, though regular travel to London will be required.

The successful applicant must be willing to stay away during some of the week. (Company van, accommodation and food & drink allowance provided).

Applicants must be 21 or over due to our vehicle insurance policy.


Responsibilities & Duties

  • Running a timetabled day ensuring strict timekeeping.
  • Creating rapport with teaching staff and students.
  • Liaising with school staff on the day.
  • Driving a company van.
  • Leading groups of staff for our larger days.

Qualifications / Skills

  • Maths GCSE essential.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Experience of working with Primary and Secondary School aged students.
  • Confident communicator
  • Comfortable speaking to groups of students and teachers.
  • Comfortable with driving in country and city locations.
  • Comfortable leading teams of other activity instructors
  • Happy to stay away for work.
  • Punctual
  • Flexible approach to working hours

Pay:
From £24,000.00 per year
