Due to the retirement of the current post holder we have an exciting opportunity for an Administration Supervisor to join our Nutrition and Dietetics Service to assist the Administration manager to lead and manage our flexible, valued and innovative cross-site administration service.


You will be a key member of our administration team and will support the Administration manager in the provision of a wide range of high quality, reliable and responsive administrative, systems and secretarial support across our district wide service.

We are looking for someone experienced and enthusiastic with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will need to be able to demonstrate collaborative working, team leadership and people/project management skills.


You'll be confident, professional, conscientious and reliable with a proactive, with a positive "can-do" approach, be able to work on your own initiative, take direction as appropriate and have excellent organisational and IT skills.

You will need to have a comprehensive administration and systems background whilst still being eager to learn new skills.

You will be working in a busy environment, dealing with conflicting demands which you will be expected to prioritise and delegate to other members of the team and may be required to work or travel across sites.

You will need to be an excellent team player, be flexible and provide cover for the Administration Manager in their absence.


You will be expected to communicate and work effectively with a wide range of staff and partners at all levels in relation to managing referrals, booking clinics and patient visits, advertising and promoting events as well as preparing and collating educational material.

You will have the ability to develop and use Excel spreadsheets, understand and work with data from patient databases to provide data reports, scheduling and managing waiting lists within this busy clinical department.

An eye for detail in presenting, proof reading and managing our patient resources to required standards is essential.
