£23,422 / circa 28,000 euros (pro rata)

Our Solar and Battery Commercial Summer Placement provides real hands-on experience through a 12 week placement.

Throughout the placement, you will have the support of a business mentor and manager, who will provide guidance and support to enable you to reach your full potential.

You will have the opportunity to be part of the team who are the leaders in investment analysis and management for renewable energy assets.

In this role you will gain experience in financial and commercial analysis, helping to facilitate optimal solar and battery investment decisions.


What do I need?


We have opportunities for those studying degrees inclusive of;
Accountancy, Business Studies, Economics, Data Science, or Maths. Our opportunities are open to students who are in their
3nd year of their degree onwards or those who have already graduated.


We'd love you to have some practical work or project experience that reflects your passion for the energy sector, as well as a knowledge of the energy industry and demonstrable experience of working in a team.

You'll also be comfortable working to and setting stretching individual targets and using your own initiative to overcome challenges and should have a genuine interest in SSE and the prospect of a long-term future with us.

SSE Renewables is a leading developer and operator of renewable energy across the UK and Ireland.

With a portfolio of around 4GW of onshore wind, offshore wind and hydro, our strategy is to drive the transition to a net zero world through the world class development, construction and operation of renewable energy assets.
