We are looking for:

A Graduate Mechanical Building Services Engineer to work in our Cardiff office, assisting in design and delivery of consultancy and construction projects.

Experience gained in the following would be advantageous:
Life Sciences, pharmaceutical, bio-technology,laboratories, industrial or scientific projects.

The role is offered on a full-time basis and there is flexibility to work some of the week from home.

Responsibilities:

Assist with preparation of building services designs for projects at their various stages including calculations, schedules, design drawings, specifications and other details as necessary for the project.
Assist the Senior Mechanical Building Services Engineer to manage design and CAD/BIM resources allocated to projects to produce deliverables within the required scope, cost, programme, safety, environmental and quality parameters of the prevailing contract.
Attend regular design progress reviews with the Design Manager. Provide appropriate information to enable effective reporting and enable variances to be addressed.
Attend site when necessary for survey or design clarification / quality control.

Requirements:

Mechanical Building Services degree (or equivalent engineering degree) with 0 to 2 years post graduate experience.
Must be selfreliant / ideally able to work independently and use own initiative.
Good standard of English both for written (spelling grammar and punctuation) and verbal communication.
Proactive, dynamic and reliable discipline project team member.
Good IT skills and competent with MS Office software including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.
