We have an exciting opportunity for a Rehoming Coordinator to join our RSPCA Adoption Centre based inside the Pets at Home store in Friern Barnet, where we rehabilitate and rehome cats and kittens and support the local Animal Hospital.

  • Attending to the needs of cats at the center, including feeding, socializing, grooming, administering treatments as directed and monitoring their behaviors.
  • Liaising with the local RSPCA hospital regarding the transport and intake of cats, discussing their care, health and medical needs & maintaining good records of these.
  • Transportation of animals in and around London (mainly North London).
  • Interviewing adopters, conducting checks and selecting the most suitable home for each cat depending on their individual needs.
  • Providing professional and courteous customer service ensuring all queries are appropriately resolved or directed to the correct department / charity.
  • Liaising with RSPCA and Pets at Home colleagues to plan and run fundraising and community engagement events in store
  • Assisting with new volunteers and foster recruitment.
