Description

Alfreton Park is a lively, successful special school for pupils aged 2 to 19 years, with severe and profound learning difficulties.

The school has a strong commitment to child safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupils and expects all staff and volunteers to respect this commitment.

We require relief Learning Support Assistants to work across the school, to support teaching and learning.

The successful applicant needs to be able to respond our pupil's learning levels and support pupils to achieve their best.


Applicants need to have a love of learning, enjoy a challenge and have the ability to develop strategies in problem solving.

We require a person who has enthusiasm, energy and is able to contribute positively to the class team.


An informal tour of the school will take place at 3.45pm on 30th March, please contact Claire Brentnall on for further information.

If you are unable to attend this tour an alternative date can be arranged after the closing date.
