Duties and Responsibilities of this Role

Setting the dining hall for lunch
Assisting with lunch service
Clearing after lunch, cleaning tables, sweeping and mopping the dining hall
Washing, drying and putting away cups and crockery
Enthusiasm

Team working skills
You will be working alongside our chef to ensure smooth running of lunch service, preparation and clean up.
You may be interacting with our Members, and must ensure you are a friendly and approachable person whilst undertaking your work.
You will be working in an environment with vulnerable adults, who may have both learning difficulties and physical disabilities. You must ensure your work is undertaken with care, and you are not putting any of our Members or colleagues in unnecessary danger.

How A.

J's Academy will support new team members:

Constructing training programmes and organising relevant courses for professional and personal development.
Providing a named mentor who will regularly check in on personal and professional progress and mental wellbeing.
Ensuring detailed information on A.J's Academy Ltd.'s policies and procedures is provided.
Organising regular performance appraisals with Seniors and Management, to discuss progress and ensure the team feel supported and listened to.
