Working closely with the Vice Chancellor and Executive Team, the PVC RKE will provide leadership and be responsible for maintaining the quality of, and reinvigorating and achieving significant growth in research activity, developing an effective, sustainable RKE culture and increasing public engagement.

The PVC RKE will be accountable for enhancing the University's positioning, reputation, and benchmarked metrics for research performance and for influencing discussion and developments in research and knowledge exchange in national and international forums.
