    As a vital team member, you will oversee your own caseload, encompassing a broad spectrum of private client work as outlined below.

    You will collaborate with one of Scotland's largest teams of private client specialists, engaging with clients from inception, including individuals, trustees, executors, and institutions from across Scotland, the UK, and internationally.

    CORE TASKS

    • You will have the opportunity to experience a diverse range of work, including:
    • Administration of trusts and executries (encompassing high-value taxable estates).
    • Assistance in asset protection and capital gains tax mitigation relating to trusts and executries.
    • Guardianship administration.
    • Preparation of wills and powers of attorney.
    • Maintenance of regular contact with clients via telephone, email, and correspondence.
    • Collaboration with all members of the private client team, comprising partners, solicitors, other paralegals, trust and tax accountants.
    • Excellent financial management of individual cases.
    • The team is dedicated to maintaining expertise at the forefront of our field, potentially involving skill development or participation in additional areas of law.

    PERSON SPECIFICATION

    • Prior experience working in a private client team is essential. Applicants with experience in administering executries and trusts, and drafting wills and powers of attorney are encouraged to apply.
    • Ability to manage a caseload and adhere to strict deadlines.
