WHAT TO EXPECT


Our engineering team is currently looking for a Project Assistant who will work with the Product Owners and our lead engineers across the Charging System team.

You'll work with and actively support the lead engineers to raise purchase orders for parts to support prototype builds and manage orders and spend profiles for supplier engineering spend and purchased services contracts.

You'll also support day-to-day travel requests as well as management of our new office space.


Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities


The purpose of this role is to provide project delivery support and co-ordination for the wider Charging team across all delivery projects in the areas of; engineering spends and purchase orders, travel arrangements, office management & general communications.


  • Supporting the team with travel arrangement, planning and sign off
  • Working alongside business management with office facilities
  • Organisation and planning of fleet management for the team
  • Act as the prime interface between the Engineering and Finance teams for the delivery of the charging systems and components for vehicle and rig projects.
  • Work with Lead Engineers to ensure delivery of systems and component to target vendor tooling and design and development costs and manage spend to target throughout the programme.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • Previous experience within engineering delivery or programme planning departments, automotive or equivalent preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Experience of the coordination of multifunctional teams
