Senior Project Manager / Senior Finance Project Manager£70- 80,000 plus an excellent package (car allowance, bonus, etc)
Redhill/ Hybrid - 2 days a week in the office
Please note that whilst this is a hybrid role at least 2 days a week are required in the Redhill office and according to project needs on an ad hoc and flexible basis.
Responsibilities will include:
- Own and drive the development and implementation of all impacted finance business processes, obtaining stakeholder buyin and shape the Project through to implementation, testing and golive
- To lead and work as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver a new TOM and IT Platforms
- End to end project management through to delivery ensuring that project deliverables are met
- Implement project scope, functional and nonfunctional requirements and deliverables
- Use knowledge and experience to help drive most appropriate project approach and methodology for the programme with the focus being on accuracy and timely delivery
- Creation of project plans with appropriate milestones, defining tasks and allocating resources
- Build, manage and lead the project team to deliver effectively
- Ensure system outputs enable reporting that is timely and fit for purpose
- Creation of effective communication plans
- Take responsibility for liaising with both technical and nontechnical supplier resources to build effective working relationships
- Work with Finance Management Team to define and develop Finance organisation required to support post golive
- Manage budget, scope and project schedule, tracking deliverables and reporting on project progress
- Present reports to stakeholders on progress, including risks, issues and suggested solutions regarding delivery
- Identify scopecreep and ensure that change requests are raised and approved as appropriate
- Evaluate and assess the results of the project which may include 'lessons learned' as well as benefits realisation assessments
- Deal with or escalate any identified risks in relation to risk policies and/or legislative and regulatory guidelines in accordance with the UK group risk framework
- Contribute to project management best practice and look for opportunities to continuously improve
What we're looking for:
- Experience working on Finance Implementation projects in a Motor Finance or Financial Services environment
- Ability to adjust to changing priorities whilst multitasking effectively
- Proven experience delivering projects utilising internal, external, 3rd party and outsourced resources across a multisourced supply chain is essential
- Experience of Finance reporting and controls
- Experience of running Finance and Transition projects through to implementation
- Proven experience delivering projects using Agile and Waterfall Methodologies excellent attention to detail and organisational skills with the ability to anticipate challenges and risks
- First class written and verbal communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate with and present to both internal and external stakeholders across all levels of the business
