Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team as an Unloader. As an Unloader, you will be responsible for efficiently unloading and moving materials within our warehouse. This is a physically demanding role that requires heavy lifting and the ability to operate machinery such as forklifts.


Duties:


  • Load and unload materials from trucks or containers
  • Safely transport materials to designated areas within the warehouse
  • Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory and locate items
  • Inspect incoming materials for damage or defects
  • Build and assemble products according to specifications
  • Assist with shipping and receiving tasks as needed
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area

Experience:


  • Previous experience working in a warehouse environment preferred
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
  • Basic mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues
  • Valid forklift certification is an asset
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

Skills:


  • Proficient in using warehouse management systems to track inventory and locate items
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, including load/unload procedures, shipping/receiving, and materials handling
  • Ability to safely operate forklifts and other machinery used in the warehouse
  • Skilled in building and assembling products according to specifications
  • Capable of performing heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks

Salary:
£11.44 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
